Overview

Vanova Health is supporting Woodbridge Medical Associates, a well-established and independent primary care practice, in their search for a Physician Assistant to join their collaborative care team. The Woodbridge Provider team has had an amazing patient care reputation since 1954 and offers an exceptional work environment that combines professional growth with quality of life. Our current team includes four physicians, and we are excited to expand with a dedicated Physician Assistant who shares our commitment to quality care.

 

The Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, focusing on preventive health, annual physical exams, Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, and problem-focused visits. It offers a competitive salary of $125,000-$140,000 based on experience. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, documenting in our EMR, ordering and reviewing diagnostic studies, prescribing medications, and coordinating specialty referrals. The role also includes cross-coverage for providers during scheduled vacations.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):

  • Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and medical histories.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging.
  • Prescribe medication as needed.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion and disease prevention.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Valid New Jersey Physician Assistant license.
  • Prior Physician Assistant experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Outpatient clinical setting with direct patient interaction.
